Job Responsibilities

• Operational Coordination: Coordinate and support daily Internal Terminal Vehicle (ITV) operations to consistently meet client demands and performance requirements.

• Manpower Planning: Assist in preparing operator rosters and ensure optimal frontline manpower allocation across shifts.

• Safety & Compliance: Actively monitor safety compliance on the ground and immediately report any operational incidents or safety violations.

• Frontline Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for vehicle operators, providing direct, on-ground support and quick issue resolution.

• Performance Tracking: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including turnaround cycle times and individual operator productivity.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise smoothly with clients, port authorities, and internal departmental teams to facilitate uninterrupted operations.

• Reporting: Prepare, update, and maintain accurate daily operational logs and performance reports.

• Resource Optimization: Support the efficient utilization of ITV resources and proactively suggest workflows or process improvements.

Person Specifications (Requirements)

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in operations management or a similar supervisory role within an industrial, port, or logistics environment.

• Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations and best practices relevant to heavy industrial operations.

• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing frontline worker teams, backed by strong leadership and people management skills.

• Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced, dynamic settings.

• Resilience: Excellent physical stamina and mental resilience to successfully handle daily operational challenges and field demands.
