Vision Care, Sri Lanka’s leading eye care solutions provider, is looking for a young, talented, and motivated professional to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual capable of working independently to maintain financial integrity across our regional operations.
The Role
Based in Kurunegala, the Finance & Accounts Executive will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and the integrity of our reporting systems. You will play a vital role in reconciling various business accounts and supporting our branch network through periodic site visits and audits.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Financial Reporting & Maintenance

Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial records in accordance with company standards.

Reporting: Support the preparation of periodic financial reports to facilitate management decision-making.

Accounting Systems: Utilize computer accounting packages to manage daily transactions and data entry.
Reconciliation & Control

Balance Verification: Perform regular and systematic reconciliations of bank statements, debtors, and creditors.

Stock Audits: Conduct stock reconciliations to ensure physical inventory aligns with system records.

Regional Support: Travel to various branch locations as required to oversee financial operations and verify on-site records.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Part qualified in AAT, ICASL, or a similar recognized professional accounting body.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer-based accounting software and MS Excel.
Skills & Competencies:

Independence: Proven ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel to various branches when operational needs arise.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation processes.
