About the Role
Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS! We are on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join our team as an Assistant – Employee Relations. In this role, you will build, maintain, and implement effective Employee Relations tools across the plant. By critically analyzing trends and introducing proactive welfare initiatives, you will help establish positive relationships with employees, reduce labor turnover, and minimize absenteeism to ensure operational goals are seamlessly met.
Key Responsibilities

Data Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor daily and weekly absenteeism and Employee Turnover (ETO). Compile, structure, and circulate accurate reports to relevant stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Trend Analysis: Analyze recurring absenteeism and ETO trends or statistics to predict future operational risks, taking timely and necessary actions to mitigate them.

Headcount Optimization: Monitor and analyze module-wise operator/staff carder requirements against the plant’s budgeted allocations. Take effective, timely action to fill gaps and facilitate smooth manufacturing operations.

Employee Support & Grievance Handling: Conduct regular check-ins and meetings to help employees overcome workplace concerns. Support and facilitate workers in resolving both personal and official issues so they can perform their duties effectively.

Welfare & Facilities Management: Coordinate the distribution of uniforms and locker allocations. Proactively address and resolve employee concerns regarding factory transport, catering/food quality, and general health, ensuring a comfortable working environment.

Committee Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate scheduled employee meetings and forums within designated timeframes, steering discussions toward actionable ways to control absenteeism and turnover.
Knowledge and Skills (Requirements)

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

Professional Qualification: Additional professional qualifications in Human Resources (e.g., CIPM) will be considered an advantage.

Experience: 1–2 years of relevant professional experience within an HR or employee relations capacity (apparel factory exposure is a plus).

Core Competencies:

Good foundational knowledge of counseling methods, employee psychology, and grievance-handling techniques.

Strong written and verbal communication alongside excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong IT literacy and data analytical skills (competency in MS Excel is highly preferred).
