About the Role
Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS! We are on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join our Industrial Engineering team. In this role, you will focus on improving product manufacturability by standardizing both machines and production methods, collaborating closely with the product development team using the Pre-Production Assessment (PPA) process, manufacturing chassis, and autonomation.
Key Responsibilities

Product Integration Leadership: Provide technical leadership during critical development stages, including Product Development Risk Assessment (PDRA), Moulding Integration (MI), Factory Integration (FI), and Pre-Production (Pp).

Documentation Management: Ensure the seamless availability and accuracy of the Tech Pack in coordination with the PPA champion.

Process De-skilling & Automation: Continuously identify and implement automation options to de-skill assembly operations during the pre-production stage.

Resource Optimization: Proactively find ways to reduce machine footprint requirements for production layouts and ensure overall machine availability for the floor.

Line Balancing & Layouts: Prepare optimized factory layouts, Yamazumi Version 1 charts, and Standardized Work (STW) sheets for machine settings.

Chassis-Based Manufacturing: Champion and establish chassis-based manufacturing frameworks across relevant lines.

Training & Development: Certify that operational team members are trained up to expected production standards prior to the Production Start Date (PSD).

Shop Floor Problem Solving: Actively monitor the shop floor for operational abnormalities and engage immediately in troubleshooting and resolution.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to compliance, health, and safety procedures during all physical and chemical testing processes to maintain a zero-accident environment.

Lean Methodologies: Align with and drive internal projects relating to the MAS Operating System (MOS) to achieve targeted operational excellence standards.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Textile, or related) or an equivalent technical qualification.

Certification: Valid General Sewing Data (GSD) License Certification is required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in an industrial engineering capacity within a manufacturing environment (apparel experience preferred).

Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of Industrial Engineering principles, practices, and workflows.

Lean Competency: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools, line balancing methodologies, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, combined with a strong leadership mindset and collaborative people management abilities.
