The Role

The Assistant Manager – Commercial & Business Analytics is responsible for the effective execution of commercial strategies and the delivery of seamless service to key 3PL customers. This role centers on managing high-value customer relationships, driving revenue realization, and ensuring strict SLA adherence through close coordination with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Account Management

• Strategic Growth: Drive the achievement of revenue and margin targets through the precise execution of commercial agreements and pricing structures.

• Relationship Leadership: Manage assigned key accounts by building strong professional relationships and ensuring consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Onboarding Support: Facilitate new business implementations, including customer onboarding and the successful deployment of logistics solutions.

Service Delivery & Performance

• SLA Adherence: Coordinate closely with warehouse, operations, and transport teams to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds agreed Service Level Agreements.

• Performance Analytics: Monitor and analyze operational and commercial performance data to identify gaps and recommend strategic improvements.

• Review Cycles: Conduct regular performance reviews with customers to discuss service levels, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational Coordination

• Issue Resolution: Act with a service-oriented approach to ensure the timely resolution of customer queries, operational issues, and escalations.

• Commercial Compliance: Oversee accurate billing, invoicing, and contract compliance to ensure all financial commitments are met.

• Internal Alignment: Maintain effective coordination with Finance, Operations, and Solutions teams to align service delivery with commercial promises.

Candidate Profile

Technical Expertise:

• 3PL Operations: A deep understanding of third-party logistics, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution networks.

• Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to manage complex pricing models, contracts, and customer expectations.

• Analytical Skills: Strong capability in data analysis to drive business insights and process improvements.

• IT Proficiency: High proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with logistics management systems.
