About the Role

Econopack Industries (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a qualified, highly motivated, and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team. This role offers a valuable opportunity for an HR professional looking to thrive and drive impact within a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage the complete HR lifecycle, including recruitment, strategic onboarding, and performance management for both factory floor and corporate office staff.

• Industrial Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for all labor-related matters, fostering a harmonious, cooperative, and highly productive working environment.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all factory and corporate operations strictly adhere to local statutory requirements, safety standards, and national labor regulations.

• Policy Development: Implement, refine, and manage HR policies designed to enhance employee productivity, engagement, and long-term retention.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional diplomas from recognized bodies (such as CIPM or equivalent) are highly encouraged.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in an HR managerial role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Legal Expertise: Strong, practical knowledge of Sri Lankan Labor Law is essential. Candidates with a successful track record in handling industrial disputes, conducting formal disciplinary inquiries, and managing compliance audits will hold a significant advantage.

Core Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages (Sinhala/Tamil).

• Strong negotiation, mediation, and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Resilience and the ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced factory setting.
