Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC is a fast-growing financial institution offering rewarding career opportunities. We are seeking dynamic individuals to join us as Gold Loan Officers to handle appraisal processes and drive business growth across our branch network.
Job Role (Key Responsibilities)

Gold Appraisal: Accurately identify, assess, and appraise gold articles to process gold loan facilities.

Compliance: Adhere strictly to internal policies, procedures, rules, and regulatory guidelines relating to gold loan operations.

Business Development: Organize and actively participate in marketing campaigns to capture new business and expand the portfolio.

Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to ensure service excellence.
Qualifications & Skills

Technical Knowledge: A sound knowledge of identifying and assessing gold articles, as well as a strong understanding of overall gold loan operations and procedures.

Education & Experience: Successful completion of the G.C.E. (O/L) examination with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
