The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Executive – Human Resources Business Partnering to join our Biyagama team. In this role, you will be a strategic partner to your assigned business unit, facilitating the implementation of HR practices that drive employee motivation, development, and organizational consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Manpower Planning: Regularly review and monitor team manpower requirements, communicating needs to the talent acquisition team to ensure timely sourcing.

Recruitment Coordination: Manage recruitment requisition forms and assist in finalizing job specifications for clear communication.

Integration: Liaise between department heads and the central HR team to ensure the successful onboarding of new recruits.
Performance & Structure Management

Job Descriptions: Ensure all employees have up-to-date Job Descriptions (JDs) by coordinating with HODs and divisional HR experts.

Organizational Charting: Update department structures monthly in alignment with headcount reports.

Performance Management: Facilitate the performance review process, ensuring KPIs are set and appraisals are conducted accurately and on time.
Employee Relations & Culture

Business Partnering: Spend time within the business team to understand evolving needs and support managers in achieving HR objectives.

Engagement & Retention: Coordinate internal surveys to monitor employee satisfaction and implement initiatives to improve team spirit and retention.

Grievance Handling: Manage team grievances effectively, coordinating with relevant HR personnel to reach timely solutions.

Compliance: Ensure employee confirmations are processed on time and coordinate the issuance of training passports.
Reporting & KPI Management

Data Monitoring: Accurately monitor and report divisional HR KPIs to the Divisional Manager to drive data-led HR strategies.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:

Academic Background: A Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.

Professional Experience: 2–3 years of work experience in Human Resources, ideally within a large-scale manufacturing or corporate environment.
Skills & Competencies:

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional people skills with the ability to build trust and influence culture.

Technical Literacy: Good IT literacy, particularly in MS Office and HRIS platforms.

Adaptability: The ability to understand changing business dynamics and proactively address HR needs.
