Role Overview

We are looking for a visionary Cloud Architect to own our end-to-end cloud migration architecture. In this role, you will define how GCP workloads, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and networking transition into Azure, utilizing GitOps as the core deployment backbone.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Design: Define the Azure target-state architecture tailored for SaaS workloads.

• IaC & Automation Strategy: Design a robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy using Azure Service Operator (ASO) and Terraform.

• GitOps Model: Define and implement a GitOps operating model leveraging Flux CD and Helm.

• Environment Architecture: Establish a comprehensive multi-environment SDLC architecture, consisting of 3 primary environments and 3 Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.

• Resiliency Planning: Design reliable DR failover and failback patterns to ensure high availability.

• Cloud Networking: Design secure cross-cloud connectivity patterns, including VPN and ExpressRoute solutions.

• Governance & Best Practices: Ensure alignment with Azure architecture best practices and provide architectural governance over the broader CI/CD transformation.

Required Skills

• Azure Expertise: Deep, hands-on Azure enterprise architecture experience.

• Kubernetes & GitOps: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes infrastructure and modern GitOps patterns.

• Migration Experience: Proven experience successfully migrating complex workloads from GCP to Azure.

• Terraform Mastery: Advanced expertise in Terraform for multi-cloud or Azure environments.

• DR & HA Design: Strong track record of designing robust Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) architectures.

• Networking Foundations: Solid understanding of cloud networking principles, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
