Overview

The Network Control Center (NCC) and Dispatch team is at the heart of flydubai’s real-time operations. This team manages flight following, operations management, and the preparation of flight plans in coordination with the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to ensure schedule integrity and aircraft performance. Working in tandem with Crew Planning and Scheduling, they ensure every flight is operated by a qualified, legal, and well-supported crew.

About the Role

This 8-week rotational internship program is designed to offer a comprehensive look into the operational backbone of flydubai. Interns will gain direct exposure to NCC and Crew Scheduling teams, understanding operational workflows and key stakeholder management while being mentored by industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Analysis

  • Research: Conduct basic research and gather data to support ongoing departmental objectives and operational efficiency.

  • Documentation: Prepare, update, and maintain accurate reports, presentations, and trackers to ensure smooth information flow.

  • Meetings: Participate in briefings and training sessions, capturing key actions and learnings for the team.

Collaboration & Standards

  • Teamwork: Work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to support the airline’s daily operating plan.

  • Professionalism: Demonstrate high standards of accountability, time management, and a proactive willingness to learn.

  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive company information with the utmost responsibility and discretion.

  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and ISR (Information Security) requirements.

Final Project

  • Presentation: Prepare and deliver a concluding presentation outlining a department overview, key insights gained, and potential improvement opportunities for implementation.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

  • Language: Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office/365 suite.
