About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious Sales Support Analyst (Officer level) to join our expanding SSIM Middle East & Africa (MEA) Client Coverage team. You will be an integral part of an entrepreneurial business development unit focusing on Intermediary and Institutional client segments.

This role offers comprehensive exposure to the MEA region and State Street’s full investment suite—including passive equities, global fixed income, ETFs, Private Markets, and OCIO solutions. This is an ideal position for a professional looking to build a long-term career in asset management distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Pipeline Management: Support the sales team in progressing the regional sales pipeline and maintaining accurate opportunity records in CRM systems.

  • Collateral Preparation: Assist in drafting high-quality client meeting materials, presentations, and follow-up documentation.

  • Proposals: Coordinate and contribute to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and specific client information requests.

  • Logistics: Organize and manage the logistics for client roadshows, high-level meetings, and regional events.

Product & Market Insights

  • Knowledge Building: Develop a deep understanding of SSIM’s product offerings across all major asset classes.

  • Analysis: Support the team with performance updates, competitor analysis, and the distribution of updated product materials.

  • Internal Liaison: Act as a bridge between investment, product, and marketing teams to gather critical data for client delivery.

Relationship & Internal Coordination

  • Query Resolution: Ensure timely and accurate responses to sales-related queries from clients.

  • Compliance: Adhere to all internal processes and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Reporting: Manage reporting requirements, including pipeline tracking and sales activity summaries for senior leadership.

Qualifications & Profile

What We Are Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience: Entry-level experience in asset management or broader financial services.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including experience using AI tools like Co-Pilot.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a distinct advantage).
